The Three Earthly Metals “Gold, Silver, Brass”

Element of Gold

Gold Represent the Divine Nature of Jesus

Jesus is the Alpha & Omega: Gold is in Genesis & Revelation

Genesis 2:11 “The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;”
Rev.21:21 “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”

Church is to Represent the Divine Nature of God

Spiritual Creatures: Jn.3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Jesus Represented the very nature of the Father---Lord, show us the Father. When you have seen me you have seen the Father.
Believers are to represent the very nature of the Father. “Called Christians”; Let your light so shine… The Hebrew meaning of the word gold is “shinning”

Gold---metal prized for its malleability.

Gold is used to overlay other material---The furniture is overlaid with gold in the tabernacle. Although the other material was there, the gold hid it and made it more valuable than its original state. This is what the divine nature of God does for believers.
Jesus took upon him the nature of a servant. God overlayed His divine nature with flesh, “incarnation”

Gold is to be separated by refining.

Refining is the process of putting in heat. The heat doesn’t hurt the gold, it removes the impurities. “Count it all joy...”

When a believer is placed in the fire of life, it is not to hurt but to refine.

Jesus was placed in the refining fire on the cross. God was taking us “believers” out of him. Blood and water

Gold can be found everywhere “universal”

Matt.28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
